This is for men who want to understand, and act on the power of their clothing, and personal style. It’s a tool, a vital one, for expressing themselves.

“Menswear designers often talk about their customers as if they are skittish wild horses, ready to bolt at the slightest hint of anything loud, aggressive, or merely unexpected,” “The Washington Post” fashion editor and columnist, Robin Givhan in February 2009.

This journal is about men’s personal style, the power of men’s wear to express a man’s personality, and point of view.  Since I’m a caramel color, I am particularly interested in ideas and items that serve and flaunt that and the darker, richer hues.  When you want to grasp what I mean, check out Lloyd Boston’s book “Men of Color.”

“We need to each understand who(m) we are, and how we want to be perceived, and dress for that particular role,” Tim Gunn in June 2007.
